PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a treatment method that involves enriched plasma obtained from an individual's own blood. PRP therapy is used in various areas, particularly in skin rejuvenation, hair treatment, injury healing, and joint problems.
The first step is to draw a small amount of blood from the patient, typically from a vein inside the arm. The collected blood is processed in a special centrifuge machine. This machine separates the components of the blood, increasing the concentration of platelets (blood clotting cells). The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) obtained after the centrifuge process is collected in a special tube. This PRP contains enriched plasma that will be used by the patient. The prepared PRP is then injected into a specific area. The application area may vary depending on the purpose of the treatment.
